1. Fumbles in the red zone that would end the game inside of two minute warning do not count if the fumbling team is a home team in Colorado who already got a break in the first quarter due to "technical difficulties".
Ridiculous - replay is useless - scrap it.

yeah that was garbage.
i know people are trying to cover hochuli's back (and he is a great ref) but he blew that call.
the rule needs to be changed. any time the ball comes out from the qb's hand like that, they need to let the play go as a fumble, and let the booth look it over.
they half got it right, in that they couldn't review it because hochuli blew it dead before anyone had a chance to recover, but he missed the call in the first place.
san diego got jobbed. i don't care what anyone says.

Haha. They are looking into the whole inadvertent whistle thing...
Going to be tough...I mean, once a whistle is blown, some players do just stop doing anything.

replay is useless - scrap it.Amen. I have been saying this since the implementation of instant replay. All it does is lead to more confusion and change for the worse. It's never going to be perfect. It also leaves the rules open to different interpretations and gives the refs more control. Oh yea, and more time for commercials!! Some things are better left alone.
Also, They have to blow some plays dead. Referees can't just let all of the shit play all the time to leave them open for review. If this is what they want to do, then they have to give the teams more 2 challenges. This will lead to more stalling and more nonsense. Scrap the instant replay!
Mistakes and bad calls are part of the game. Live with it. Ask a Raider fan what he thinks about it. They never changed the infamous 'tuck rule'. I wonder why? That rule is far more ridiculous then the inadvertent whistle rule or any other rule for that matter.
The whistle is blown. Play over. Bad call. Move on. Now it's the Chargers job to keep them out of the end zone for the next two downs. It's also their job to keep them from getting a two point conversion, and they didn't. So, San Diego loses. End of story. By the way, I had money on San Diego and watched the game...

Oh yea...Didn't they always say...
"Play until the whistle blows."...??
I liked that saying.
Now, it will be...
"Play until the whistle blows and you are sure that the play definitely is over and the whistle wasn't an 'inadvertent whistle'..."
Only in the National Football League will something like this be up for debate...
