PGA Championship Picks

After an indepth analysis of the practice rounds yesterday (ok, not really, it was more about seeing who I could see and spending $6/beer) I took a couple names to win the thing. I figure anyone can win this thing without Eldrick playing. If any of these players win I'll make money. $5 a piece, I think there are 10 names all together. They're in order from worst to best odds....

Lee Westwood + 2200
Jim Furyk + 2500
Kenny Perry + 2600
Anthony Kim + 2800
Ernie Els + 2800
Henrik Stenson + 4000
KJ Choi + 4500
Miguel Angel Jimenez + 5500

Again, these names are pretty much stabs in the dark. Trying to make a Tiger-less PGA a little more interesting to watch.

I played a few after the first round. I always like to wait until the first round is over before I start playing these. Some of the better golfers' odds remain around the same even if they are near the top of the leaderboard after day 1...

I like Sergio's chances this weekend.

I watched Stenson hit a couple of phenominal shots today to save pars, he seemed to playing very well today also.
