I hate betting on the home team, but I hate betting on early season MLB even more... so I'm taking the lesser of two evils.
Pistons -5.5 (-105)
Hopefully the right Pistons team shows up tonight... I'm starting to think they pick and choose which nights they want to win and which nights they don't care.
On a side note...
One thing I've learned from these opening round series is that there are some really promising young Eastern Conference teams. I've been really impressed by the play of Atlanta and Philly, they really looked like they have deserved to be in the playoffs, despite sub .500 records. It looks like there are top teams in the west starting to fall and teams in the east on the rise. It wouldn't suprise me to see the two conferences very evenly matched a couple years down the road... something to keep an eye on for the next season or two.
